Jaime Hoerricks, formerly Jim, is the author of Forensic Photoshop, a widely used guide to evidence-based image processing. A former Certified Audio/Video Forensic Analyst (AVFA), Jaime retired from police service in 2016 after leading multimedia evidence analysis for the LAPD. They contributed to national standards through NIST’s OSAC and has consulted globally across public and private sectors. As a trainer, speaker, and former Director of Support and Training for North America at Amped Software, Jaime helped shape the modern field of digital multimedia forensics. Their work remains influential in promoting ethical, repeatable workflows that endure beyond changing software versions.
