I started taking photographs when I moved to New York in 1999 after a degree in English literature from the University of Bologna. The fast pace of the NY, its sharp light and its mix of cultures was an inexhaustible source of inspiration and I got easily drawn to photograph it daily.
In 2015 I moved to London where I continued to develop ideas and film and recently I created an experimental project of images screen printed on plastic bin liners.
Taking photos allows me to observe ordinary moments which I easily would ignore and reveals a hidden side of life.
