This is a picture book showing the construction of a church building that a group of churches from the IL area came to help the people of the mountains in Santiago, Ecuador. They worked in the cold rain some days but ate delicious food that was brought to the Jobsite for lunch but enjoyed their evening meal which was prepared by the ladies of the church, by eating at the church in San Miguel which was close by. This also shows tourism from the well-known market in Otavalo and also a resort close by to San Miguel.. This small team worked hard by starting with just holes to the finished project of an open-air structure with a roof. This is a church that the community will use for children to learn about God and enjoy a hot meal twice a week and hopefully the parents will start attending and families' lives will be changed.
