Intrigued by the quirky collection of sentences known as "The Harvard Sentences," I began an exploration that included research into the secret wartime origins of these 720 sentences, as well as a creative exploration. I have rearranged these random sentences into short narratives, and have illustrated them with my original photographs. Surprisingly, creating this book took me back to my childhood, and may have foreshadowed my future. The reader may also gain an appreciation of the frantic efforts of researchers during World War II, who were pressed into service to use their talents and abilities in unexpected ways.
