About the Book
Jordan started this project with the intention of compiling commercial photographs into a catalog form and using standard studio techniques to photograph the instruments. What came out in the end was his commercial hybrid of hyper realistic photographs. Shot on location at the collector’s house, these photographs go beyond traditional photography and push the limits of the digital age. Jordan’s goal is to show people the soul of these guitars, for them to be able to feel and see the power that they produce without actually hearing someone play it. . Through out this book you will see many different brands as well as different types of stringed instruments.

Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, there is no dull moment as a concert photographer. Those dull moments are filled with the lush landscapes of Colorado, the burnt and crisp orange of Utah and the occasional second line in New Orleans. There is no moment I dont see and capture. But when that does happen, I know I am alive and that makes the next shutter that much better.
