About the Book
Pollux (né Paul Morris) is a Los Angeles-based artist and cartoonist who specializes in paintings and drawings depicting a wide variety of instrumentalists and musicians. He believes instruments like the saxtuba, couesnophone, odrecillo and bulbul tarang should be pulled from the shadows and brought to you in full color.
Born in Beverley, England, Pollux grew up in Culver City, California. He graduated from UCLA (History and Latin) in 2001. He received a Master’s Degree in History from Brown University in 2002 and an A.S. in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of California in 2011. His work has appeared at shows sponsored by RAW: Los Angeles, The Chocolate & Art Show, the Beyond the Lines Art Show, the Jackalope Art and Craft Fair, ArtLife South Bay, and the Taché Gallery.
