This is the story, told through stunning images, of a visit to a region of the state that he had never seen before, where everything was new and uniquely Asheville! Duffy is an artist accomplished in woodblock prints, water colors, and sculpture. For the first time, he is publishing a collection of photographs taken during the summer of 2008 in the mountains of North Carolina. These images in Asheville August continue the long tradition of showcasing Duffy's excellent eye for composition, color and his particular point of view.
