    About the Book

    Edit

This book of photographs delves into the profound connections with an ancient past, showcasing over 20 years of travel and documentary photography in the Maya regions of Mexico and Central America. Within its pages, you will encounter the remnants of ancient Maya temples and monuments, as well as captivating portraits of the contemporary indigenous Maya population. These images transport you into a vibrant historical world that remains alive and thriving in Southern Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. Meticulously composed montages juxtapose striking stone-carved faces with the living Maya culture of today, revealing the enduring links to their ancestors.
