    About the Book

    Edit

Few places on earth have had a more turbulent and tortured past, or face a more tenuous future, as the cauldron of humanity called Indochina or Indochine. As these emerging nations enter the 21st century, there is little doubt that capitalism is now king. And while the cultural price that will be paid for future success remains unclear, it most assuredly will come due. That aside, Indochine will always be a place of exotic beauty and enticing wonderment. This book is quite simply a pictorial ode to its people, their heritage and the place they call home.
