"INITIUM (latin for "beginning") is Abbie Warnock's first published collection of photographs from her first five years as a portrait photographer in Salt Lake City, Utah.



Well known for revealing the beautiful and often intense "inner icon" of each of her subjects, Abbie is also able to create a unique closeness with the musicians she photographs onstage, producing live candids with an intimacy rarely seen in music photojournalism.



INITIUM brings together eighty-five of Abbie's most thoughtful portraits, surreal landscapes, and stunning concert images of top music names such as Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Shiny Toy Guns, AFI, The Bravery, and many others."
