This collection celebrates the colourful, exciting, unpredictable and beautiful artform that is a Fireworks Display. These photographs are a selection of my best landscape format shots from events around the world. They have been selected from the many thousands I have taken since my first attempts in 1997 and include my personal favorites - the spectacular New Year's Eve display in Sydney Harbour (2003).



I have always enjoyed the spectacle of a professional fireworks display and have been lucky to combine this with my love of photography. The first 8 photographs in this collection were taken using an APS format SLR film camera (Canon EOS IX). I moved to digital (Canon D60) in 2002 - this enabled me to take many more shots but has resulted in 1000's of pictures to sort through!
