About the Book
Taken in Yorkshire, England during a few days in June when the Strawberry Moon presided over Ampleforth, these photographs depict the untamed plant life and rural character found there. Together the images form a visual portrait of the enduring appeal of the natural world in a village whose very name comes from a plant.

About the Creator
After Image Press
Los Angeles, CA
Making books and zines and arranging photographs into a sequence helps me understand what I've experienced. The printed object becomes another stage of the creative process. For me, photography is a process of discovery, and the work continues after the photographs are made. The camera begins the process, the book completes it through editing, sequencing and design. Hence the name of my press, After Image Press, where the work determines the book. I love creating an object that carries a message.
