About the Book
In this zine, I will take you with me on a walk around Florence through 45 black and white photographs captured on film between 2018-2025. You will find a good mix of urban details, famous monuments and places, such as the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River, a bit of nature, and some Florentine views. Finally, the zine includes a series of photos captured outside the city center in some of the more local and lesser-known parts of Florence.

Birgitte Brøndsted
Florence, Italy
I am a Danish photographer and translator originally from Copenhagen, but I have lived and worked in Italy for more than twenty years. For many years I lived in Rome, but since 2011 I have been based in Florence. I have worked as a photographer for more than ten years photographing mainly kids and families, but over the years I have also collaborated with brands and magazines. I am passionate about film photography, and this is where my main focus is right now. I also love to write, and I dedicate a lot of my time to Substack, where I share my personal photography along with some words. You can follow me here: https://birgittebrondsted.substack.com
