This is a Subjective Guide to Croatia - one of the places we visited during our epic 9 months, 8000 miles long journey through 17 countries.
All starts aligned in Autumn 2024 and we decided to fulfil our dream. We took children, Hania and Kai, out of school and dropped our 9 to 5. We moved completely remote for work and fully independent and creative for homeschooling. The longer we travelled the more we felt that this adventure must continue, and we would strive to inspire other people to do the same. Family Gap Year was born. A project of living the values of location, time, and financial freedom.
This book is just a snippet of what we experienced along the way. It was not intended to be published, the photos we took were not photoshopped, the text is not as polished as you may expect from a travel guide, but it all came from the heart and perhaps the fact it was spontaneous will make it more authentic and relatable.
