About the Book
Through scenes of civic devotion, family, faith, and the fragile beauty of the Republic, Dear Charlie invites readers to reflect on what it means to live as citizens who serve truth and cherish liberty. The poems move like prayers, blending public vision with private gratitude, creating a bridge between loss and hope.
Dr. John Girdwood’s composition unites art and philosophy, voice and light, to reveal that remembrance is not silence—it is the work of keeping freedom alive.
