    About the Book

    Edit

A book I never knew I needed to write, until I did.
When I was seven, I lost my mother. And for a long time, I didn’t have the words to understand what that meant. As an adult, I found myself returning to that silence, trying to give it shape. Elio’s Letters came from that place—from the child I was, and the healing I’ve been learning ever since.
Each story is written from the voice of Elio, a gentle child who speaks to other children about grief, love, and the quiet ways our loved ones stay with us, even when they’re no longer here in the physical sense.
This book is for children who are grieving. For parents who want to help but don’t know how. For therapists, teachers, and anyone who believes that love doesn’t disappear, it transforms.

Hi There, This is my first book in a duology of books documenting my journey through the personal pain of Child Abandonment, Mental Health and a lifetime of Addiction issues. My journey to rebirth has led me to a greater understanding of our deep-rooted and sometimes hidden connection to child neglect and abuse as we grow older. A process which has often been a dark and painful one. I hope my words can support the reader in our darkest monuments with the realization that we are not alone in times of despair and pain. Recovery, Regrowth and Rebirth are within everyone's reach.
