About the Book
For photographer Tyler Smiley, it was both. Days (and some nights) spent riding up and down the coast capturing the many landscapes and landmarks in the area, while taking time to slow down and enjoy the beach nearby with camera still in hand.
A Weekend in the Outer Banks is a compilation of the best images Tyler captured during a lone weekend on the barrier islands. His goal was to put them in one place that could be easily shared with the world, one book at a time.

About the Creator
Hi there! My name is Tyler, and I'm a photographer based out of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. As a photographer, I enjoy capturing photos of my local landscapes and the diverse wildlife found along the coast of Delaware, though with my full-time job focusing on real estate photography, I don't have as much time as I'd always like to focus on these type of images. These calming scenes always have a way of putting my mind at ease, and it only feels right to share that with others. It is my dream to slowly over time add other locations to my portfolio, with the two places I would most like to photograph currently being Japan and the savannahs of Africa. Outside of coastal Delaware, I've also had the privilege of taking photos at Assateague Island in Maryland, and several locations up and down the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Thank you for stopping by to check out my profile, and here's to the many adventures ahead! - Tyler
