This book is a collection of dog portraits, and one cat. Janet Barnes is a Cornish artist, whose work is inspired by her walks with Nala, her red fox labrador, along the south west coast path. Her work includes landscape and wildlife. This edition of her work was inspired by and includes, some of her commissioned portraiture and illustrates her careful observation of the characters of each of her subjects. She captures the appeal of each dog with her sympathetic eye.
