About the Book
Breaking down certain movies frame by frame not only resulted in numerous visually striking appropriations but the process seemed to lay bare the individual visual structure / DNA. One of the most fascinating transformations was based on Godfrey Reggio's Qatsy Trilogy (1982/1988/2002) thanks to its revolutionary and excessive use of stop-motion and time-lapse cinematography.
