About the Book
For Now is a deeply personal and transformative journey through the artistic process, challenging the narrative that creativity has an expiration date. This collection of journal spreads tells the story of embracing art at any stage in life, weaving together themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the unbreakable bond between the artist and their calling.
Each piece was created non-linearly, an intuitive and organic approach that mirrors the unpredictable yet deeply meaningful journey of becoming an artist later in life. These works, arranged in the order they were made, invite viewers into the evolving landscape of personal and artistic growth.

My own journey into art began not with formal training or grand declarations, but with quiet moments: drawing suns and rivers on scraps of paper, tracing dreams across the night sky with my fingers, stitching songs into diary pages in the hope they would find their wings. As a child, I found magic in the smallest of things — a stick becoming a paintbrush, a cloud becoming a canvas. Summer evenings were my first art studios. The ocean, the trees, the golden hush of twilight — all whispered, Create. Today, I write and create art and have a comfortable life, living at the beach with my husband and our sweet Shih Tzu.
