About the Book
Drawing insights from Jean Baudrillard’s Simulation and Simulacra, this thesis explores how creatives, particularly ones in Graphic Design, should actively engage with simulacra, becoming responsible perpetrators of the current hyperreal age. To become conscious users of Simulacra to expand what is creatively possible. Arguing against the negative connotations surrounding hyperreality and instead showing its ability to foster creativity and redefine our perceptions of what is real.
