About the Book
Drawing Without Worry is a collection of 100 digital drawings by San Francisco-based artist John Vochatzer, created over the course of three months on Procreate. Loosely a sequel to his 2024 show "All The Little Things That Happened In Our Heads," this new body of work continues Vochatzer’s exploration of drawing as a kind of visual journaling—but with a renewed focus on letting go. It’s a playful, sometimes messy, and deeply personal effort to push back against creative anxiety and rediscover the joy in making.
Known for his work across collage, illustration, street art, and tattooing, Vochatzer brings a loose and intuitive approach to these images. The drawings weren’t made to impress, and that’s the point—they’re about process, presence, and embracing impermanence. It’s a reminder that art doesn’t have to be precious to be meaningful.
