About the Book
What started as a personal exploration of place and history evolved into a deeper photographic inquiry into the human relationship with nature, ownership, and garbage.
This project has come about as a reflection of ourselves as we take ownership of the land and public places and make them our own. Just as someone would leave a plate on the table in their own home they would be more likely to help clear the table and “clean up” at a friend's home when they are visiting.

About the Creator
I document the places where landscapes, weather, time, and the sbtle ways humans and nature interact. With a practical approach and years of experience exploring remote areas by bike, on foot, and on horseback, I bring a hands-on, “boots-on-the-ground” (hooves on the ground) perspective to every assignment. Based in Nova Scotia, I focus on rural, coastal, and wilderness environments, documenting everything from changing weather patterns to long-abandoned structures and the quiet signs of nature reclaiming space. My work is rooted in observation, patience, and an ability to find strong visual stories in everyday surroundings. With a background in long-distance travel via bicycle, I am comfortable working in tough conditions and remote locations. My photography is clear, honest, and grounded with out the over editing.
