About the Creator
Lavonne Bosman is a South African photographer with a deep passion for capturing authentic human stories. With a background in Theatre and Photography, her work reflects a keen eye for composition, light, and the theatrical essence of everyday life. She is drawn to unposed moments, where candid expressions and natural interactions reveal the soul of a place and its people. Working primarily with a 50mm lens—closest to the way the human eye sees—she moves intuitively through her surroundings, framing each scene with a sense of intimacy and storytelling. From the bustling streets of Vietnam to the quiet resilience of South African communities, her images document the present as a living history, preserving fleeting moments before they disappear. Her painterly use of light and exposure gives her photographs a timeless quality, transforming daily life into striking visual narratives that feel both familiar and profound.
