Dr. Ledesma is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a painter, educator, and psychotherapist. Dr. Ledesma obtained a masters degree in fine arts and in art therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her interest in the practical applications of psychoanalysis and art as a tool for healing lead her to obtain a doctoral degree from The Institute for Clinical Social Work, focusing on the use of art-making in clinical treatment of adults.
