About the Book
A structure which evokes pride and nostalgia, Garth Pier is both important locally, particularly to the team of dedicated volunteers who run it, and nationally as a wonderful example of engineering. The photos contained within are both a record and a celebration of a wonderful piece of Victorian nostalgia.

About the Creator
I have been a keen photographer for twenty years. I have recently taken the plunge, and become a self employed photographer after leaving my job in the motor industry, where I was the Head of Photography and Trade for Sytner North Wales in Llandudno Junction. A Portrait photographer predominantly, I have a love of Engineering and Architecture. I have two books available, an architectural book focussing on bridges and pier's called Cross/Over, and Symphony, which is documentary portraiture, focussing on an orchestra's preparation and performance of some challenging classical pieces of music. I am hoping to set up an exhibition for my images in Symphony in the coming year. I predominantly work in Black and White, using high contrast and Vignette's. While this is my preferred method of photography, it is not exclusive, and I will adapt depending upon the needs of the client or the photograph itself.
