    About the Book

    Edit

The author describes her unexpected and wondrous journey to the Catholic Faith. After proclaiming herself a non-practicing Protestant for over six decades, she was drawn to the Catholic Faith. She attended a Bible Course and was awe-struck by three discoveries:
    1) The Catholic religion is the one true faith established by Jesus Christ.
    2) The Holy Eucharist is the real presence of Christ.
    3) God inspired the Holy Bible, which tells the story of Salvation.
She finally heard God, the Good Shepherd, calling her back to His flock. In 2013, she joined the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Mass. The writing of her book, My Journey to Becoming a Catholic, was undoubtedly a work of love. Still, more importantly, it was written with God's grace and the inspiration and promptings of the Holy Spirit to allow her to share her learnings with her brothers and sisters in Christ so that we may love God and each other evermore.
Pauline is grateful to the many Catholic faith teachers who were instrumental in her growth in understanding of the faith and love of the Word of the Lord: Fr. Chris Alar ( Marian Fathers), Dr. Tim Gray (Augustine Institute), Bishop Barron (Word on Fire), and Dr. Scott Hahn and Dr. John Bergsma (Saint Paul Center for Biblical Theology).

She was widely recognized for her passion to mentor and develop talent around the world. After retirement, at sixty-five, she finally heard God calling her. With a grateful heart, she joined the Catholic Church in 2013 at the Easter Vigil Mass. The writing of “My Journey of Becoming a Catholic” was a work of love, written by God’s grace and inspired by the Holy Spirit to share her learnings with her brothers and sisters in Christ so that we may love God and each other evermore.
