    About the Book

    Edit

In 2024, I experienced Psychosis. This is a book of poetry that spans over a decade of my life. It deals with the complex themes of childhood trauma and the domino effect aftermath. It’s heavy and, at times, quite dark. It doesn’t seek to soften the blow. What I wrote, I wrote to live and survive through the night oftentimes. So, it’s as honest as I was willing to be during some of the darkest times of my life. It discusses what it means to still have faith after a childhood of religious trauma. And explores what it means to forgive and need forgiveness.
