    About the Book

    Edit

Edward Aust is a poet from Oakland, California. He serves as poetry editor of Radix Magazine and facilitates The Writer’s Nest, a fellowship of Bay Area poets. His poems have been published in Avocet, Coal City Review, California Quarterly, Stonecoast Review, The Reed, Watershed, Algebra of Owls, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian, among others. His poetry is based in surrealism and spirituality, drawing on visionary imagery from the imagination, nature, and the street. His poetry straddles the inner city gutter and the snowy mountain, the Holy Spirit and the devil, the mundane daily grind and the transcendent vision of cosmic redemption.
