About the Book
Located in Guben, Germany, this facility reveals the controversial process of plastination pioneered by Dr. Gunther von Hagens – a technique that replaces water in human tissue with polymers, preserving bodies in an astonishing state of eternal stillness.
To step through these images is to stand face-to-face with the boundary between science and art, anatomy and mortality. Gruesome, fascinating, unforgettable – “Plastinarium” is a journey into the very anatomy of death and preservation.

About the Creator
Professional photographer working on fashion and social projects across Asia, Africa, and South America. Author of powerful and controversial series such as “Plastinarium” and “Death Camps” – the latter refused publication in Poland due to its uncompromising view of history, and released independently in the United States. I work exclusively with Leica M cameras – guided by the principle “simple, lightweight, reliable”. My toolkit includes the Leica M9, and MP film body, paired with two essential lenses: the Noctilux 50/0.95 and Summilux 35/1.4. Film remains central to my practice: Kodachrome 64, Fujichrome Provia 100F/400F, and Kodak Tri-X. All negatives are scanned with the Hasselblad Flextight X5 at 8000 dpi, preserving the full depth and texture of the original image.
