The 2009 Longhorn football team of Cedar Hill High School, Cedar Hill, Texas began their year highly ranked in the US and State polls.....bound for another State Title.

And yet, the dream ended in a crowded stadium at Birdville ISD with the 'Horns going down in defeat to Abilene.

A true Longhorn fan though, knew the season was a special one, even as they were stopped from their quest for State. The final crown bestowed upon this exciting football team was at the new Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as the 'Horns defeated Flower Mound for the Area Championship.
