    I’ve had a passion for photography ever since I received my first brownie camera at age 11. I enjoy many genres of photography and work in both black and white and color. I love nature and the outdoors. Long Island has so many beautiful beaches, parks, and preserves which I visit often, rarely without a camera. I recently spent a year chronicling the lifecycle of the Long Island Osprey, from its arrival in the spring to its departure in the fall, as a method to cope with the stress of losing a loved one. That experience culminated in a hard covered photo documentary of a family of Osprey. The book contains over 60 images, my story, and some interesting facts about the Osprey. All photographs were captured on the North Fork of Long Island. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it and capturing the images.
