About the Book
This exhibition showcases the personal journey and creative discovery of nine GlassRoots fellowship participants. These inspiring and talented young artists began their creative journey at GlassRoots in Newark, working in a variety of mediums. They then traveled to Peters Valley to immerse themselves in craft workshops for another seven weeks. The exploration seen in their work demonstrates their immersion in the craft studios and the accomplishments they made during and after their artistic residencies.

About the Creator
Peters Valley School of Craft
Layton, NJ
Peters Valley enriches lives through learning, appreciation, and practice of fine crafts. The making of fine crafts is a kind of exploration, which relies on an integration of heart, head, and hands. Peters Valley encourages and facilitates this exploration in everything we do. We are a vibrant community, bringing together established and emerging artists from around the globe. Coming together to make things makes us better artists, able to learn from each other, and to evaluate our own efforts in a wider context. Our Gallery is focused on supporting living artists through the facilitation of sales of their work and creating opportunities for them to exhibit their work in a professional setting.
