    Shirley Wiebe is a process-based artist who brings a reflexive approach to interaction with her materials. Her work includes drawing, photography, sculpture, installation and song writing. Connections between environment, memory and identity form a continuous thread of questioning in all these explorations. Born on the Canadian prairies, Shirley is a Vancouver based artist who has been exhibiting since the mid 1980s. Her work is featured in private and public collections and she has been awarded several public art commissions in the city of Vancouver, along with numerous international art residencies.
