    Pareidolia, from the ancient Greek para, “next to”, and eidos, diminutive of eidolon, “appearance, form”, is the name given to the phenomenon of the emergence of figures in the clouds.

    La paréidolie, du grec ancien para, « à côté de », et eidos, diminutif d’eidôlon, « apparence, forme », est le nom donné au phénomène de l’émergence des figures dans les nuages.

    Jonathan is a costume designer, a textile artist and painter who works with installation art and enjoys pushing the boundaries of his craft . His multiples interests in life always bring him to discover new territories and be up for a challenge. He worked as a designer for the theatre and assistant designer while doing a BA degree in stage and costume design. He then worked as a key breakdown artist on major television series and features. He is a natural leader with a calm energy and good instincts. Intrigued by aesthetic accidents and the relationship forever in motion between matter and light, Jonathan initiates dialogue with materialities through different mediums. In his work, everything is always shifting. You can see this in his paintings, where intrinsic layers of colors neighbours each other thus creating movement trough retinal persistence phenomena or in his latest work Numinosity (2019), where light reflection is the medium used to perform the mind ability to constantly
