Photographer GREY JOHNSON captures the raw elements of emotion in his subjects intent on showing the viewer a real person is in front of them with the courage to bare their soul. He was influenced by the diversity of models he worked with in his figure drawing classes at the time. He believes it is important to represent diversity in all types of media and arts.

Grey Johnson is a Fine Art Photographer based in Washington, DC. His journey began shortly after attending figure drawing classes at The Minneapolis College of Art & Design. He was motivated to create by the diverse representation of the models seen in those classes and wanted to represent that diversity in the environment of Fine Art Nude Photography. Grey is a minimalist and believes that all you need to make an impactful photo are a few key elements of light and shadow! He is also the creator of THE NAKED PROJECT a fine art photography project about celebrating the beauty, diversity, and acceptance of the human form!
